About Donna Bassolino-Klimas
Owner and lead web design and developer is Donna Bassolino-Klimas, Ph.D. A resident of Mercer County, NJ, Donna’s been involved with computer programming and development projects for nearly 30 years.
Having earned her BA in Chemistry (1983) and Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from Rutgers University (1989), she was originally employed in the Macromolecular Modeling Department of Bristol-Myers Squibb in Princeton, New Jersey. She implemented various pioneering programs for studying protein structures, small molecule permeation through lipid membranes and mining the human genome. Peer review journals hold over 30 papers published by Donna.
In an effort to make the results of these large scale simulations available to chemists and biologists in various ways and on various computer platforms, Donna focused her attention on the development of web-based user-interfaces to extract and manipulate data from large databases.
Profession Expertise
Her professional expertise now extends to web site development, content management systems, e-commerce, forums, databases and the development of custom interfaces for database extraction.
